From curious beginner to passionate developer - here's my story in web development
The Beginning
2021 - 2022
My journey into web development began with curiosity and a desire to create. I started with the basics - HTML, CSS, and JavaScript at a tech school,"A+ Learning Institute" which was located in Jos,Plateau State. Those late nights debugging simple scripts and celebrating when my first interactive webpage worked were the foundation of my passion.
I remember the excitement of building my first portfolio website (which looked nothing like this one!) and the satisfaction of seeing my code come to life in the browser. Every small achievement fueled my desire to learn more.
Present Day
2023 - 2025
Today, I'm a confident frontend developer who graduated from AltSchool Africa with expertise in modern frameworks and libraries. I build responsive, user-friendly applications using React, Next.js, Vue.js, and Tailwind CSS.
I've mastered version control with Git, understand the importance of clean, maintainable code, and can collaborate effectively in team environments. I'm constantly learning new technologies and best practices to stay current in this fast-evolving field.
My focus is on creating exceptional user experiences while writing efficient, scalable code that other developers can easily understand and maintain.
Future Vision
2025 & Beyond
Looking ahead, I'm excited to expand into full-stack development, diving deeper into backend technologies like Node.js, databases, and cloud platforms. I want to build complete, production-ready applications from conception to deployment.
I'm also passionate about emerging technologies like AI integration, Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), and exploring the potential of Web3 and blockchain technologies in creating next-generation web experiences.
My ultimate goal is to lead development teams, mentor aspiring developers, and contribute to open-source projects that make a positive impact on the developer community and beyond.
